Celery Stalks at Midnight!

My third(?) grade teacher read us Bunnicula in class.
I think my favorite bit was at the end of one of the chapters when the mom of the house has put Chester, the cat, in his yellow kitty PJs, which he detests. This is after she spoke baby talk to him & kissed him on the end of his wittuhl nose.

Line was summat like "and Chester and his sixteen purple mice in cowboy hats slunk into the kitchen to see what was for dinner."

I always preferred the sequels/corollaries over Bunnicula. Howe is a darn good author. I should re-read those.
