We actually started a Classic BattleTech campaign a few weeks back.


We are playing during the 3055 Clan invasion.Our group is part of Clan Ghost Bear.

Reading theclan histories is amazingly interesting...

I was always more of an inner sphere man my self. The House Steiner was always the folks I threw my lot in. Even had patches on my coat as a kid and posters in my room. The folks that bought the house I used to live in with my parents walked in to my room and realised they'd have a new friend (he worked sculpting miniatures for one of the big minature manufacturers Rafm.)

Wanna know how much an OLD Battletech geek I am?

I even have the DC comics miniseries from the mid 80s which had absolutely NOTHING to do with the game.

If I remember right. Battletech was sued by Harmony Gold back in the day because of the similarity of the 'mechs to the veritechs.

Yes, there are currently mechs that will never be remade as they are too similar to Robotech mechs...

Oh and also, Reuben ad I met in our high school gamers guild while playing Classic Battletech.

So it's really enjoyable to beinvolved in a campaign with him again :)
