Where I work, it's apparently un-American to exercise your freedom of speech against war, and to speak ill of el presidente.
According to their logic, there's a time and place for everything. And yes, a fight nearly broke out. Luckily, you don't lynch the guy holding a 30 pound bar used to break through roots. After all, I could quite easily use it to break ribs.
It's hard, especially as I am living with some one who is very pro war. While we agree on some things (like, yes Saddam should be removed from power), we disagree on a lot of points about the start of this war.
Evidently I'm a Hippie for being some what against the war, and caring about the ecology.
A hippie? Funny. I always thought of you as one of those folky glitter goths.
I think what we need is to have more examples of the undercurrent of ethnic cleansing which that link hinted at put in the news. How's that one quote go? The one where in the end, there was no one left to defend him?
