Feb. 25th, 2002 12:17 amI've come to despise the drive from Champaign to Chicago.
It is long and boring when one's radio won't pick up any stations unless they happen to be strong signals (No antenna currently).
It distances me from Reuben, who day after day becomes more and more my reason for waking up each morning. Which is an odd feeling, as it isn't as if I am waking up next to him every morning.
Although that will happen soon enough.
So tired. Not quite sure how I'm going to survive my show.
I guess I could find a few albums and just play them in their entierty (as was done *last* week with the new Apoptigma album).
I don't want to go to work tommorow as my stomach is still not too happy. May have to call in to work sick (won't they be happy with me then?)
Some things discovered over the weekend:
Life is such a happier thing when one once again has an active sex drive.
The Turtle cheesecake was a flop. It's a no bake recipie that didn't set correctly, and tasted odd (you couldn't tell it was cheesecake even).
Metropolis (2000) is very very good.
You know, for being a quake type game system (which I normally hate) Return to Castle Wolfenstein is very very good.
Speaking of quake type games, I wanna know where my disk 1 of Alice went.
Was gifted a copy of _Thyroid Power_ Is very very interesting so far. Thank you for the suggestion Janette.
Mom still didn't understand me when I said we would be living together. (what is it with selective hearing?) Will have to *email* her and tell her to call me.
Reuben has decided that if it causes too much of a problem, we will just find someplace else to live.
I hate not being able to pay all my bills on my own.
