Glimpses of my life

nimrodielMerciful heavens, this week went by much too quickly.
* what ever happened to March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb? It seems more as though it came in like a lamb and is leaving as a lion.
* I am not now, nor never will be a deer hunter. I like seeing the animals alive too much. However I do understand the need to thin the herds down.
* the show went well today. If anyone wants a tape, let me know I'll dub it for you :)
* new pants *dance* I have lost around six inches from my waist in the past year. I don't think I've worn 32" waisted pants since high school.
* Maybe I can get into my student account so as to do this weeks worth of homework.
* Got to hang with Jim and his girl. Much fun was had.
* Kittie fur and stale tobacco smells now invade my laundry.
* There are McDonalds that are 24 hour buisnesses on the weekends *Boggle* This is less amusing than the fact that at 12:30 am there was a line in the drive thru.
* wake up foot. *shakes*
* invitations to a show in Toronto by a friend who is performing. Want want want to go, but lack the both the time and financial means to do so.
* I hate asking my mom for a loan.
* you who is playing up there in Canada whom I can't see. If you guys get something recorded I can get you airplay at the station. Just FYI.
* need to finish my taxes and get them in.
* car is running well. have new wiper blades, need to replace them but it is still too icy to do so.
* driving home last nightwas interesting. It was very much as if you took the flying through space screensaver and put it over a highway background. all the snow was flying right towards you.
* Of course I left the station this morning to find that the snow that was piling up had been freezing rain at some point. It took me 20 minuites of chipping at ice to get into my car.
* home sick. shouold do homework, but am timesucking instead. Go figure.
* Blade II was not as bad as I expected it to be. Yay for action movies with pretty pretty costumes.
* my bumper is wire tied onto my frame.
* I hate leaving Reuben. even though it will only be for a week (as I get to go up to my orthodontist on Sat.) it hurts every time I put miles between us.
* the exitement of junk food not found in the states coming my way is a good thing.
* I sleep now.

on 2002-03-25 02:07 pm (UTC)sorry bout that....next time we will come visit you guys maybe..???Also the new house is MUCH better ventilated and i will be more able to go to a different room to smoke instead of a different PART of the room. Im glad you had fun as did i. It was good seeing you two together...its rare ya have family you like hanging out with...well at least thats what ive heard. and of course i like reuben not only cause he "hooks me up" but because he is interesting to chat with. I hope we will get to hang out more often in the future...

It's entertaining listening to the discusions and debates he starts.
We need to get a good group of people to go out for coffee and shoot the sh*t. That I think would amuse me.
