Frank is doing an acoustic show (and how often does he do those anymore?), with some of the olf Poi Dog Pondering songs (99as far as I have heard) There is a "Songs for the Cutting Room Floor album" that is Fantastic. And I shall be buying it as soon as I can afford it. Especially since they have nifty hand painted ones up for sale :)
There is a set of Chicago shows, however they are this weekend (tommorow and Sat. to be precise) at Martyrs (info for any midwest pdp fans that can afford to go).
I am entertaining guests here unfortunately.

Frank will be taking the acoustic show on the road for a weekend -
Friday March 8th at Bluebird in Denver and Saturday March 9th in NYC at Bowery Ballroom. Frank will be joined by Paul, Susan and Leddie and will be performing songs from Sweeping Up The Cutting Room Floor along with other vintage and Poi rarities.
Tix are on sale now for the New York show at http://www.ticketweb.com or at the Mercury Lounge box office. For the Denver show, you'll have to check your local listings as the information has not been provided to
me yet.
Here's hoping that this is the beginning of Poi in your neighborhood soon! I know we're planning more shows like this and I'll keep you all posted.
Don't forget, this weekend! Frank and guests perform acoustically at Martyrs - Fri and Saturday. There are tix still available through the Martyrs web site or you can also purchase them at the door but ad spots
will be running on WXRT starting today which will most definitely increase the tix sales. So get 'em now while you can!
