Mar. 4th, 2003 09:37 amI hate my allergies.
No, I take that back. I hate the way my body reacts to my allergies. I can live with Hives, with breathing problems. These are things that antihistamines help.
But I can not live with my skin getting so sensative that my clothes hurt. It makes life unbearable. I can't sleep cause it hurts to lay in bed (the blankets crush me and the sheets chafe), I can't exactly run around naked all the time, as I do have to leave my house occasionally. The worse part is I can't touch people, especially Reuben as my skin is soooooooo sensitive that the merest brush of skin against skin is painfull.
This is the first time I have had this happen without being sick (when I run fevers, as my body temp is so low I get very very achy and skin sensative). It's been building up slowly the last couple of weeks. SLowly enough that I didn't notice it untill last Thursday was full blown "I hurt" upon waking up.
It's subsided enough that now I am left with sensative skin on my arms. WHich gets aggrivated due to the weather (It's wintery cold and snowy so I'm wearing lots of long sleeves)and my hands feel twice their normal size, and the skin feels stretched over all my joints.
It is during times like these, that I can not use any scented lotions. I've run out of the kiss my face unscented lotion that doesn't kill my skin. Reuben hates going into Whole Foods, but since I need this I may have to make him go in with me as all my money in my checking account goes to paying student loans this month....
I want to know what happened to the check Kinko's was supposed to re-issue me. I've yet to see it.
