Jun. 4th, 2002 10:21 amSo the way the apartment is set up, we have a skylight on the roof slant opposite of the bed. Currently, there is one of those Mexican woven blankets hanging over it to cut down the sulight that floods the apartment and makes it unbearably hot during the day.
Plus it makes it kinda annoying to feel as though you are getting a suntan by laying on the bed...
So anyways, it has been raining since yesterday. But at about 9pm last night there was a ton of lightning. It was lighting up the apartment through the other 3 skylights. I wished that I could have pulled that blanket aside without it falling down so that we could lay in bed and watch the lightening and the listening to the thunder and the sound of the rain pounding on the roof above us....
well I'm getting ready to run off to meet Jim for lunch :)
