nimrodielWhen the spaceship Challenger exploded, I was sitting in class. We were watching the telivised launch.
This past Saturday we were spending the morning relaxing. Reuben was on the computer playing Mechwarior Mercinaries. For once we didn't have WBEZ (the local NPR station on) I heard about the shuttle through my mom calling us to tell us.
Other than that our weekend was nice. THe War event for Battletech at D&B went well. blue team got kicked off a planet and kicked red off a planet.
Tofutti cutie ice cream sandwiches rock. I had forgotten just how good tofutti is, and it has the added bonus of not being made of milk and not containing lactose.
mmmmmm, chocolate ice cream sandwiches...
Also, some one out there in readerland might have an answer to this. Reuben takes very hot showers. This results in mold growing on the silicone sealant around the edges of the shower stall. Can any of you recomend a good non traditional cleaner that will help get rid of this and possibly the discolering that occurs?
Normal cleaners have started to make me break out into nice big welty hives, and the fumes are enough to send me coughing for the next day. I'm beginning to find my allergies a pain in the butt. I need to start wearing a dust mask when I vaccuum, even though we have a really good HEPA filtered vaccuum.
Also, as of this evening we will have a working doorbewll for the first time since we moved into this apartment.
