question.

Ganked this from [livejournal.com profile] inlaterdays, and wondered how my friends would answer it.

If you could make a good living doing *anything at all*, what would you do?

Design jewelry. Yeah...me the programmer...with a secret, hidden artistic desire. Go figure.

And...I like shiny things =)

It would be doing exactly what I do *right* now.. and that would be working with infants and toddlers.

Unfortunately, the catch is that we that take care of infants and toddlers *don't* make good money at it, and probably never will.

Art. A good living, not this dribs and drabs that nowhere near add up to my rent, thing. But I'll get there someday.

If I could just read books of my own choosing and knit for a living I think I would be in heaven, as long as i didn't have any deadliness

As a job-type sort of thing.. Either being a wandering minstrel or helping people in foreign lands. :)

i'd run an independent record label. i'd love signing bands and really getting behind music that i loved, and musicians that moved me. that'd be my absolute dream.
